Faith in Action is a national volunteer movement that brings together volunteers from many faiths and the community. Their mission is to help the elderly, chronically ill and disabled adults maintain their independence and dignity by providing them assistance with everyday activities. Through friendly volunteers, Williamsburg Area Faith in action is able to provide transportation, friendly visiting, reassurance calls, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, and yard work.

Peninsula Agency on Aging is a non-profit organization that provide programs in cooperation with other community agencies in Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Poquoson, and James City and York counties to assist older Virginians in independent and productive living. The agency is a clearing-house for information, coordinates services, and provide planning and leadership on aging issues.

Williamsburg Area Meals On Wheels was formed in 1974 to fight hunger and to serve the growing needs of our community.

Williamsburg Area Meals On Wheels serves approximately 500 adults each year. We deliver hot, nutritious noon-time meals Monday – Friday all year long.
